Longest Pile Driver Ever In Florida Working At 750-Foot

Contractors working on the foundation for first tower at The St. Regis Residences, Sunny Isles Beach are using the “longest pile driver ever in the state of Florida,” according to a newly released construction update.

The first tower is planned to rise 62 stories and 750 feet, the tallest ever in Sunny Isles. A second tower is also planned at the same height.

Groundbreaking took place in August, and work remains on schedule.

Underground foundation work is being performed by Keller, while Coastal Construction

is overseeing the project.

Work includes deep soil mixing and installation of cast piles. It will be followed by 40

feet of excavation for an underground parking garage is planned.

Château Group and Fortune International Group are the developers, are both

overseeing sales.
